Wood is a natural and beautiful product and has been converted into timber for the construction and furniture industry, for thousands of years. Some of which are still around for our viewing pleasure today.

There are many types of wood, each with their own property and uses, many have good elasticity and others brittle.

As a specialist cabinet maker, I work in both hardwood and softwood and chose my timber carefully for its function, beauty and durability.

I enjoy working closely with the customer to design and manufacture, a high quality piece of furniture, that will fit in and enhance existing pieces of furniture.

My commissions have included fitted bookcases, freestanding and fitted furniture, custom kitchen cabinets, windows, doors and porches.

I also specialise in the restoration of fine furniture including French polishing, carcass repairs and replacement of missing or broken mouldings.

I have worked in the industry for several years with high-end furniture and kitchen makers and have gained a considerable amount of knowledge throughout my career.
